Ms Chitra Shinde

Chief Operating Officer

Having started in India as a Management Trainee with AFL’s Express Division DHL, she played a key role in introducing automation at air operations in India. Prior to this assignment, Ms Shinde has been with DHL Express for the fifteen years.

She has also worked as Operations Manager in Papua New Guinea, Pacific Islands, Australia and more recently as National Operations Manager for New Zealand. In her last assignment she was responsible for the integration of DHL’s operations with JV company Courier Post jointly owned by DPWN and NZ Post.

Her expertise is in operations management, process improvement, change management and automation.

Ms Shinde has a Masters Degree in Marketing and Finance from Karnataka University. She also has a Diploma in Strategic Management from Macquarie University in Sydney.
