Head – International , Zone

Location :Mumbai

Experience :12-15 yrs

Qualification :MBA

Deliverables :

- Should identify and analyze potential business opportunities/ideas at zonal level and work towards achieving it consistently - Should have successful track record in handling key clients - Should have good exposure in International freight forwarding / Ocean Freight arena. - Should have good technical and analytical skills for increasing business volume per customer as desired.

Functional Competencies :

- Should have excellent contacts in the corporate world. - Should be heading a regional/zonal level position for atleast last 2 yrs - Should have led a team of at least 8-12 Sm's/BDMs. - Should be well conversant about upcoming market trends in the Logistics Industry - Should be a Strategic thinker who can percolate the corporate vision to his team - Should develop the major account clients for the growth of the organization - Should identify and analyze the business industry-wise, device new avenues and marketing strategies. - Overseas exposure is an added advantage - Should be capable to complement with other functions (Operations & support services) effectively - Should be able to retain & develop of customer base

To design develop new strategies in sale and marketing to meet and surpass the targets and to provide directions to sales team. To comprehensively design and deliver solutions to customers and to expand the customer base. To constantly coordinate with existing customers and operations team to ensure customer delight

Functional Competencies :

Should have successful & consistent track record of allocation and achievement of targets in the territory. Innovative, creative & initiative by venturing into new markets, knowing need gap of the customers, suggest development of new products & introducing the same in the market Should be analytical, goal oriented team player & focused in improving the top & bottom line of the Company business Should be abreast with the business trends / market opportunities

  • Should lead sales operations of a state successfully
  • Should have successful & consistent track record of allocation and achievement of targets in the territory.
  • Retention, Expansion and Development of customer base.
  • Effective coordination with service team towards customer requirements.

Functional Competencies :

  • Should be able to do Market study, territory mapping and drawing of action plans.
  • Should have a good experience to lead a considerably large team.
  • Should Identify and coordinate with service team towards fulfilling customer requirements.


Prerequisites :

  • Should have hands on experience & exposure in the field of sales and in dealing with customers
  • Should have the flair for allocation and achievement of targets in the territory.
  • Should be capable enough in exploring new horizons in order to expand the existing customer base & develop new customer base.
  • Should be capable enough to work on as well as off the field as and when required.
