Your cargo is valuable to us and we, at Gati, urge you to be vigilant of fake websites and fraudsters posing as our representatives and associates. They use a number of methods to trap innocent customers who end up losing time,
money and their cargo due to the incompetency of these fraudsters.
To protect your cargo and continue to benefit from our safe, timely deliveries, identifying the right ‘Gati’ is critical. It is also important to report fraudsters and fakes that you may come across.
And it’s not that difficult. Just follow the simple steps below
How do I identify the right ‘Gati’?
Gati Packers and Movers, Gati Movers and Packers or Gati Packers? Who do I rely on? None of these!
We have just one registered trade name – Gati Ltd.
We have only one website – www.gati.com
Don’t fall prey to the confusion created by any other companies, persons or websites operating under any other names related to Gati.
You may come across a number of false entities claiming to be retail partners, agents or associates. Just ignore them and look for our registered name ‘Gati Ltd.’ and official website ‘www.gati.com’ .
Any other company or person operating under an alteration to the name Gati Ltd. or a different website other than the official one is to be deemed fake.
Read on to find out the different ways in which these fakes/fraudsters attempt to trick customers and what you can do about it.
Identify the trapping mechanism
To trap innocent customers, fraud companies take a rather innovative approach. The try to improve their listings on popular search engines like Google by running ‘keyword’ ad campaigns for their fake websites.
So for example, if a customer types ‘Gati services in NCR’, it is possible that the fake websites get listed first in the results or get prominently displayed as ads.
If the search result or ad has any URL or link other than ‘www.gati.com’, then it’s just a fake site. We, at Gati, are not responsible for any information or transactions related to such sites.
These kind of frauds are becoming increasingly common because more and more customers are now looking for services online using search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. and other B2B sites.
While we do encourage you to experience the convenience of exploring our services and offerings on various digital platforms, we urge you to exercise caution.
